Norton-sub-Hamdon to Muchelney
Stone circle on Ham Hill, erected to mark the Millennium.
The White Hart Hotel at Martock is opposite the Market House. It dates from the 18th century, and we appreciated the sign inside from its early days...
Martock church tower, showing the buttress with hand-holds cut into it to allow the rescue of wayward balls on the roof!
At the Parrett Works, united with the river once again.
The way across the wier, and the view downstream.
On the way to Muchelney.
The Nelson's Arms at Norton-sub-Hamdon, although not very inspiring on the outside, was lovely on the inside (and the food was lovely on our insides, too!)
Looking down to Norton from Ham Hill.
War Memorial on Ham Hill.
Bridge over Hinton Meads Brook.
The church at Kingsbury Episcopi across the water.
Thorney Silent Mill. (The mill may be silent but the water was certainly not!)
Muchelney church from the campsite at Abbey Farm.
